How do you decide which books are good for which levels?
Our tutors take into consideration various characteristics like the length of the book, the level of vocabulary used, and grammar complexity. We want the read to be challenging, but not completely overwhelming for you.
Do you sell used books?
Yes, we love giving used books new lives. If books are used, the details of where/how we got the book and the condition will be available on the product page before you make your purchase decision. Books listed on our site are new unless otherwise stated. Books received as part of a subscription will always be new.
All books that are sent as part of a subscription are new.
Do you ship internationally?
Unfortunately we are only shipping to addresses in the U.S. at this time.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept payment by Paypal and all major credit and debit cards – Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover.
What is your return policy?
If you are unhappy with your order, please reach out to us at info@booksalo.com within 15 days after you have received your package. We will be able to provide you a shipping label and organize any refunds/exchanges necessary. If you are on a subscription, we will also send a different book your way.
When will I receive my order?
We will send you an email notifying you when your package has shipped. Typically orders will take 3-7 business days to get to you although this can vary. You can find your order details and tracking information (when available) on the order history page in the account section of the website. If shipment of your order is delayed, we will notify you via email.
Will you be adding other language subscriptions?
Absolutely! As we grow hope to continue adding new languages.
